A Fresh Start

A Lot Has Changed,

It is safe to say that I don’t think anyone could have predicted the shit show that was 2020. I’m very lucky that I was able to continue working through the global pandemic that is COVID 19 but let me tell you it hasn’t been easy.

Being a front line worker with a compromised immune system I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to keep working but I managed. In 2020 I’ve had many ups and downs then again who hasn’t?

In the last twelve months my boyfriend & I moved in together and it has been an amazing adventure. We are only renting but we are determined to keep saving for our house deposit. It was never in our plan to rent but we will benefit in the long run.

Moving out of my parents home was emotional as it would be but it also meant I had to cook for myself & Roland. It’s been quite a learning curve living on our own and I imagine we will keep learning a long the way.

On to my health, I really can’t complain about my diabetes. My blood sugars are in range most of the time, my thyroid is still functioning and I still follow a strict gluten free diet for my coeliac disease. I was thrown a curve ball a few months when I found out I have Cowden syndrome.

More on Cowden syndrome later, right now I’m doing my best to stand tall and not let my health problems get the better of me.

I have many hopes for this year and while the year ahead may not look promising right now, I can only keep moving forward and hope that 2021 will be a better year.

Until next time,

Jenna

      1. Thank you, it’s not easy by any means. But at least the elderly can stay in their home for as long as possible.

      2. PS, what is your blog link? I clicked on your Gravator profile and it says it’s deleted? You might want to update that if you want people/readers to get back to your blog, too. 🙂
